I'm Emil Bandoni, an economist at the Central Bank of Ireland and a PhD student at University College Dublin.

Short bio

I work as an economist in the Macro-Financial Division of the Central Bank of Ireland and I am a second year MPhil/PhD in Economics student at University College Dublin.  My main PhD advisors are Prof. Oana Peia (UCD), Prof. Yota Deli (UCD) and Prof. Steven Ongena (UZH).

I am also an occasional visiting student at the Department of Finance of the University of Zurich (hosted by Prof. Francisco Amaral), a research fellow at the European Central Bank, and actively involved in the alumni initiative at Collegio Carlo Alberto. 

In the past, I worked as a financial stability analyst at the ECB.

Main research interests

Housing, household finance macro-finance and empirical financial intermediation.
